This one-of-a-kind statement ring is made entirely from hand-drawn components. The design is inspired by the effect of a droplet disrupting a calm body of water and creating radiating ripples, celebrating the circular formations of mathematical perfection found in nature.
Each ring is made in decreasing gauges of wire from the centre. These concentric circles represent the decreasing energy of the waves.
The radiating rings are then added to the band and framework by soldering.
Once the metalwork is constructed the surface is finely finished with different abrasives until it has a satin like sheen.
