A beautiful green sapphire was selected as the feature gemstone which is accented with varying sizes of diamond. The ring is completely hand fabricated in 18ct yellow gold, from the tube for the gemstone settings to the hand drawn wire which created the spiral shank. The gold is finished with our signature deep texture which shimmers in the light.
I get an unbelievable number of compliments on my Shimell and Madden ring — many tell me it’s the most beautiful ring they’ve ever seen! We live in LA, a city with no shortage of bespoke jewelers but after weeks of research we decided there was nobody quite like Shimell and Madden. Emma made this process so easy. We received timely emails with detailed explanations and recommendations, accompanied by photos and videos of every gemstone. For a busy small business, they managed to make us feel like we were their top priority, even being so many miles away. On a recent trip to London, we got to meet with Luke and my partner was thrilled to talk shop in the studio.
