and Madden are collaborative by nature. That’s why they enjoy working with
clients to create beautiful, bespoke jewellery – whether it’s an engagement
ring, wedding band or reworking an heirloom.
Their east London studio is open by appointment, get in touch with Emma to arrange your visit.
The commissioning process begins with discussing your ideas or requirements, this can be easily done over the phone or by email if you are unable to visit their studio. After taking all the information they require they will be able to provide designs and quotes.
Once a design is decided upon and/or gemstones are selected a 50% deposit will be taken. Work will then begin and a usual making lead-time is 6 to 8 weeks. When completed Shimell and Madden will provide you with a video and imagery of the final piece, you’ll then be asked for the payment of the 50% balance and you will be able to collect or have the piece shipped to you.
They are very experienced in recycling existing materials or pieces you may have whether it is precious metal or gemstones. There are many options available for making a more ethical or sustainable choice, just get in touch to find out more.
